§ 3.9. Induction of members.

Latest version.

The City Clerk shall administer the oath of office to the duly elected members of City Council and the Mayor on or before December 31, immediately following their election. In the absence of the City Clerk, the oath may be administered by anyone authorized to administer oaths under the laws of the Commonwealth.
