§ 4.3. Commissioner of revenue and city treasurer.

The commissioner of revenue and city treasurer in office on the effective date of this Charter shall continue to serve in office until January first following termination of their respective terms of office. The commissioner of revenue and city treasurer shall be elected to four-year terms of office on the first Tuesday in November and shall take office on January first, following election. The incumbent commissioner of revenue and city treasurer shall hold office until their duly elected successors have qualified.
