§ 25-126. Purpose.

The purpose of this article is to abate or control actual or potential cross connections and protect the public health. This article provides for establishment and enforcement of a program of cross connection control and backflow prevention in accordance with the Commonwealth of Virginia, State Board of Health, Waterworks Regulations 1995, or as amended.
