§ 3.6. City council.

The city council shall be composed of six (6) members. They shall be elected by popular vote of the qualified voters of the city as provided in this Charter.

In the event of the death, removal or resignation of a member of city council, the vacancy shall be filled in accordance with general law.

Each member of the city council may receive a salary to be fixed by the governing body, payable at such times and in such manner as the governing body may direct.
