Water and sewer customers who qualify for real estate tax relief pursuant to division
2 of article II of chapter 22 of this Code shall be eligible for a reduction of the base service fee for water
and sewer services to nineteen dollars and fifty cents ($19.50) per month. The commissioner
of the revenue shall certify a listing of those residents who qualify under this program
and submit it to the city's water and sewer billing representative by the first day
of June of each year. Eligibility will run from July 1 of each year to June 30 of
the following year.
