§ 2-14. Assessment of processing fee on individuals admitted to the Prince William—Manassas Regional Adult Detention Center following conviction of a crime.

(a)

There shall be assessed, in addition to any other fees prescribed by law, and as part of the cost incident to processing arrested persons into the Prince William—Manassas Regional Adult Detention Center following conviction, a processing fee in the amount of twenty-five dollars ($25.00).

(b)

The assessment levied by subsection (a) above shall be ordered as part of court costs collected by the clerk of court, deposited into the account of the city treasurer, and used by the Prince William—Manassas Regional Adult Detention Center to defray the costs of processing arrested persons.
